The designer, Michelle Zacks, and I named this collection "A Real Fake High Life". The original concept was to create something editorial and narrative to reinforce the playfulness of the collection, and move away from a straightforward look book. To achieve this I created a "mood narrative", a visual story that progresses throughout the series of images. Rather than printing a physical book, it was designed as a mini-site, for both environmental and accessibility reasons.
