CURRENT/ELLIOTT draws inspiration from folk and vintage Americana. For their debut photo shoot and look book we wanted to create imagery that reinforced these inspirations. We referenced turn of the century Appalachia, as well as more modern American iconography.
For the layout, we drew primarily from the vintage feel of the collection, referencing old user manuals. To avoid an overly literal feeling we interspersed some more playful design elements like layering and alternative orientation.
