Volkswagens second all-electric car to enter the market, a bigger more practical version of the successful ID.3. The SUV ID.4 builds on the same platform MEB platform shared with all upcoming VW Group electric vehicles.

The 77 kWh battery can give a range of up to 310 miles, with the equivalent to 204hp from the electric motor and 310 Nm of torque. The ID.4 is equipped to handle 125kW fast charging, reducing the amount of time needed to fill the batteries.

The ID.4 is a similar size to the current Tiguan, whereas the Tiguan has sharp dramatic styling the ID.4 is rounded off and smoother. Boot space 534 litres which is slightly more than its competitors but less than the Tiguan.

Inside the cabin, it’s a very futuristic VW, with a knob to select your desired drive function instead of a conventional gear lever, the drive has a crisp digital display as standard. Infotainment is provided by a central 10-inch display, providing controls for the entertainment and additional functions.
